In 1999 department of Urbanism was established at University of Art. In 2000 after permission of Council of Developing Higher Education, Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning was established in Karaj Complex. Currently, the main classes in Bachelor, Master and Ph.D, are held at Bagh- Melli Campus, and some other classes including workshops and laboratories are in Karaj Complex.
